Who is responsible
Poker Manager Mobile is a game developed by a private individual. For any question about your data, or to request its deletion: guillaume@ivanez.com.
What the game does not do
- No account to create: no name, email address, password or phone number.
- No advertising, and no ad network built in.
- No audience measurement or usage analytics tools.
- No access to your contacts, photos, location or microphone. The app asks for a single Android permission: internet access.
- No data is sold, rented or passed on to data brokers.
What stays on your device
Your career — stable, players, money, reputation, mail, trophies, achievements — is saved only in the app's local storage (or your browser's, for the web version). It is not sent anywhere and nobody but you can access it.
Something to be aware of: uninstalling the app, or using Android's "Clear data", permanently deletes your game. That's why the game offers a save export in its Settings: the file it creates belongs to you and is not sent anywhere — you decide where to keep it.
The online features, and what they send
The game uses Firebase (Google Ireland Limited) for the world leaderboard and
the friends system. The data is stored in a database located in the European Union
(region europe-west1, Belgium).
Anonymous sign-in
As soon as you open the Settings screen or the Friends screen, the game establishes an anonymous connection to Firebase. It creates a random identifier specific to your installation, kept on your device. This identifier is not linked to any personal information: no name, no email address, no advertising ID. As with any connection to an online service, Google receives your IP address at that point, along with the usual technical information about your browser or device.
As long as you don't turn anything on, this connection publishes no game data.
World leaderboard (off by default)
If you turn it on, the following is published and visible to all players:
- the username you chose (24 characters maximum);
- your reputation, your in-game week, and the level of your best player;
- your stable's name and color;
- the date of the last update.
You choose this username and stable name freely. Don't use your real name if you don't want to be identifiable: they are public.
Friends (optional, independent of the leaderboard)
If you use this feature, the game creates a friend code and publishes a stable card. Your username and your stable's name, color and crest are linked to this code, and become visible to anyone who has it — that's what lets a friend check that it's really you they're adding.
A more detailed card (week, reputation, bankroll, trophies, number of achievements, your players' first names and levels, progress chart) is also published, but it can only be read by your confirmed friends — this restriction is enforced by the server, not just by the app.
Challenges
If you take part in a weekly challenge, your username and your result are published in that challenge's leaderboard, visible to the other participants.
How long, and how to delete
Published data is kept until you ask for it to be deleted.
- Delete everything, from inside the game, without asking anyone: Settings → "🧨 Delete my online data". This immediately deletes your leaderboard entry, your stable card, your friend code, your friend links and your challenge results, as well as the anonymous identifier itself. Your game is not affected: it's on your device.
- Turning off the leaderboard in Settings stops any new publication, but does not delete the entry already published: use the button above for that.
- Removing a friend deletes the link on both sides.
- Uninstalling the app deletes everything on your device, but not what you have already published online. Remember to use the delete button before uninstalling.
- If you have already uninstalled, or if something doesn't work, write to guillaume@ivanez.com with your username and, if possible, your friend code: the deletion will be carried out within 30 days.
You also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection provided by the GDPR over this data. The same email address handles all these requests.
Children
Poker Manager Mobile features poker tournaments with no real money at all: you can't deposit, win or withdraw money, and the game contains no in-app purchases. It is nevertheless not intended for children, and is not designed for a child audience as defined by Google Play's rules. No data is knowingly collected from children.
Changes
This policy may change as the game evolves. The last-updated date at the top of the page is authoritative. Any change that would alter the nature of the data sent would also be announced in the game.
